The Cité des Congrès Valenciennes is under the delegation of the CCI Hauts-de-France, a major player in regional economic development. Since its inauguration in January 2017, the Cité des Congrès Valenciennes has established itself as the Hauts-de-France‘s premier events venue. Located in the Valenciennes Métropole conurbation, in Anzin 10 min from downtown Valenciennes and less than 1 h from Lille, it hosts prestigious events that bring together thousands of participants and spectators from all walks of life. Whether for congresses, conventions, workshops, roadshows, trade or consumer shows, concerts, comedy or dance shows, or end-of-year corporate events, the Cité des Congrès Valenciennes never ceases to surprise and delight its visitors.

Located at the heart of the new Parc des Rives Créatives de l’Escaut, on the former site of the Vallourec factory, La Cité des Congrès is part of the transitional dynamic promoted by Valenciennes Métropole, thanks to its recognized expertise. Our CSR policy



On a daily basis, the Cité des Congrès Valenciennes minimizes its impact on the environment and intensifies its work on the local and social economy. Our actions include

  • We use rainwater for some of our sanitary facilities;
  • We use 100% green electricity for the entire building;
  • All lighting is LED;
  • We use geothermal energy for some of our heating;
  • We are committed to reducing waste, both for our employees and for our events;
  • We compost our garbage and recycle our cigarette butts;
  • We work with La Cantine de Joséphine, a social integration restaurant in Valenciennes, for some of our events.

La Cité des Congrès Valenciennes carries out many actions to support its CSR policy: donations to associations as part of October Rose, donations of old IT equipment, donations of meals to associations, participation in World Cleanup Day, hosting speakers and schools as part of the “Les Cités Éducatives” program, etc. Many of our employees are also involved in local associations and charity events.

Our accessibility

In 2025, we called on Picto Access to provide us with an accessibility frieze that enables PRM/PSH people to know whether or not they will be able to visit our site in the autumn (accompanied) or not.

This approach ensures inclusive access for all our visitors, providing simple, accessible information.
