5 TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL PARTY

Whether you’re a professional or an individual, organizing a party (and an event in general) requires a certain methodology, and above all a few points to remember.

Today, discover 5 tips that our employees have shared with you to optimize your organization:

1) Drawing up a budget

Whether you’re organizing a party for 30, 200 or 1000 people, the first thing you need to do is draw up a budget. It’s the guideline you’ll use to build your project, and it’s an important indicator when choosing your suppliers.

Break down your overall budget into different categories (space, communication, catering, entertainment, audiovisual, etc.) and update this document regularly to keep an overview of your event. Being rigorous with your budget means optimizing the management of your project.

2) Find a place that rocks

If there’s one thing you want to make unforgettable at a party, it’s the venue. It will reflect the mood of your evening, the tone of what you want to convey to your guests, because that’s what they’ll remember.

Choose a venue that suits your needs in terms of entertainment, size, décor and accessibility.

Because, yes, the choice of venue is directly linked to the choice of decor and scenography. That’s why you need to think carefully about the visual elements that will dress up your evening.

Plants can warm up your venue, aerial decorations can add height, colored elements, lighting… the possibilities are extremely wide! And don’t forget to choose the right furniture for your event.

3) Choose a qua-li-té restoration

Catering is a real issue at any event. Whether it’s a gourmet meal at the table, an outdoor foodtruck or an aperitif cocktail party, your choice of catering and caterer must be beyond reproach.

It all depends on the number of guests, the theme of your party and your budget. If you’re planning a more casual evening, why not hire a foodtruck? If, on the other hand, you’re planning a more formal affair, why not opt for a more refined table service?

Think about the different diets of your guests, so you can offer different options (veggie, etc.), and give preference to local and seasonal products as much as possible. The important thing is to ensure that your proposal is in keeping with your evening’s theme.

4) Plan “wow” events

If you’re organizing a party, you probably have a purpose behind it. If it’s a party for your customers or employees, you won’t choose the same entertainment as for a party for the general public!

These can be shows or performances, as well as participatory entertainment, workshops, etc. Entertainment is what will set the pace of your event, and above all, it’s what will determine whether your guests enjoy themselves… or not, and if your guests have a good time, then your evening is sure to be a success!

5) Surround yourself with a team of professionals

And yes, because organizing an event on your own is virtually impossible… It’s important to surround yourself with a team that will take care of both the upstream organization of your event and its coordination on the big day (set-up, reception of suppliers, reception of guests, dismantling…).

There are lots of different jobs in the events industry, all equally important.

Surrounding yourself with a team you can trust is essential, because it’s what will bring calm and serenity to your evening, and therefore make it a success.
