Some of these companies are part of the Metropole&#8217;s <strong>competitive clusters<\/strong>: Innovative and Sustainable Mobility, Digital Creation and Industrial Transition and Low-Carbon Logic. <\/p><p>The Cit\u00e9 des Congr\u00e8s Valenciennes team was once again on hand for this annual event.<\/p><p>So what does a behind-the-scenes tour of our convention center look like?<\/p><h2>Discover the 15,000m2 convention center<\/h2><p>Our visitors were able to discover all our empty and unfinished spaces, including :<\/p><ul><li>3 equipped auditoriums: 150, 300 and 500\/800 seats<\/li><li>14 committee rooms: from 20 to 150 people<\/li><li>  4200m2 of exhibition space<\/li><li>A panoramic bar-restaurant<\/li><\/ul><p>It&#8217;s hard to visualize what the events we host might look like. To remedy this, our tour guides have presented the <strong>different possible configurations<\/strong> of our spaces through photos of past events. Congr\u00e8s, pass through the many entrances to each space or admire the view from the rooftop &#8211; that&#8217;s what awaited our guests during this <strong>privileged visit<\/strong>.<\/p><h2>Event management professions<\/h2><p>Event industry professions are varied, and at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gl-events.com\/fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GL<\/a> Events there are more than forty of them, offering a diversity that could easily be disorientating. Just as well, that&#8217;s what we came for! The Cit\u00e9 des Congr\u00e8s is mainly dedicated to hosting conventions, cocktail parties and\/or special events such as new product launches. It also hosts shows, renting a hall and services with different providers to meet demand perfectly. Speaking of rooms, there&#8217;s something for every taste and, above all, every need: small, medium, large, modular, with the option of adding partitions, hushed, fully equipped with video projection and sound systems. In short, it&#8217;s hard, if not impossible, not to find what you&#8217;re looking for to organize a corporate event in the best possible conditions. The venue is very clean and pleasant. The speakers&#8217; explanations were very clear and precise. They answered all our questions, giving us concrete examples of past events to help us understand better. Well done and thank you! At the end of the visit, we were given a bag containing a few goodies to mark the occasion! I really enjoyed the visit, and was amazed at the sheer size and almost infinite possibilities of the Cit\u00e9 des Congr\u00e8s.
